Can one question change your life?
When was the last time you talked with someone and received the personal attention you deserve?
It’s rare for anyone to get an hour to work on their health and goals with a trained professional.
As your personal Holistic Health Specialist, I create a supportive environment that will enable you to achieve all of your health goals. I use practical lifestyle coaching methods to guide you in discovering which approach works best for you.
Most approaches to health dwell on restrictions or regimes that are impractical for you the individual. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and unsustainable rules, I coach my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and discipline.
No one method works for everyone.
I will guide you to find lifestyle choices that best support you, the individual. I will also help you to make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals.

- Turning 41 for me was a huge deal. More so than turning 40. Turning 41 meant that I not only reached a pinnacle of a life stage, I actually tipped over. A lot happened up to the run up of my birthday, which was on August 16. For those into zodiac signs, astrology and all that other jazz, that makes me a Leo. ROAR! Truth be told, I prefer to purr, and apparently in my sleep I do just that. Go figure. Two weeks before, I got the A-Ok to run a meditation class at an Investment Bank through one of its employee associations. For various reasons, I was contemplating whether or not to actually take on the assignment, when I received news that a former colleague, and someone I considered a dear friend, was “leaving us.” “Leaving us,” for those who are unfamiliar with the term, when referring to […]Read More
- Have you ever done something, hating every minute of it but pushed on anyway till the bitter end? Probably you have. Most likely, you were clapped on the back for your perseverance. No one likes a quitter in our society. No wonder. We are taught to keep on striving whether we like it or not. What thoughts come to mind when you think of quitters? You don’t even need to know the situation, just think of the statement, “She (or he) is a quitter.” Soft, lazy, incompetent, untrustworthy, stupid… The list can go on. One thing is for sure, there is certainly a stigma attached to the label. Knowing when to quit. I caught myself in the act of stigmatising myself during a 10k race last weekend. My knees had been bothering me a full week before the race, but I kept saying to myself, “No, you have to run.” […]Read More
- I always fancied myself a left-brain thinker. Logical. Always asking critical, sometimes uncomfortable, questions to get down to the truth of a matter. My mother is still of the opinion I should become a lawyer or something of that ilk. No, I won’t be going to law school anytime soon. I am a logical thinker, until I don’t think logically. Sometimes I look for signs. Often when our minds are so overwhelmed with the hectic world of decision making and planning, our so-called “logical deductions” no longer serve us. It’s seemingly counter-intuitive, but true. Our minds become like pressure cookers ready to blow. Because we get so caught up in the planning, actions and reactions, we can’t see the forest for the trees. It’s at times like these, I step away from myself, step away from the fray around me, and “get quiet.” And, that’s when I do it. We […]Read More
